Terms of service
The terms on which we provide TimeTracer and this website. They contain the three commitments from the about page as obligations rather than intentions.
Two sections are unfinished and say so on the page. The liability clause and the governing law both need a solicitor.

Who these terms are between
These terms are between you, or the business you are acting for, and MuslimSpot. They apply to this website and to TimeTracer. The other products are in development, so nothing here grants you access to any of them.
By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms. If you are accepting them for a business, you are confirming you are allowed to.
What we provide, and what we do not promise
We provide TimeTracer as a working service and we will keep it working. We will apply security updates, keep backups, and fix what breaks.
We do not promise a specific availability figure. Maintenance sometimes requires a restart, and a hardware failure means an outage while the service is restored from backup. If you need a contractual availability guarantee, MuslimSpot is not currently the right supplier.
We do commit to telling you. Planned work that will interrupt the service is announced in advance. Unplanned outages are acknowledged while they are happening.
What you agree not to do
You agree not to:
- Use the service to break the law, or to do something to another person that they could take you to court for.
- Attempt to reach data belonging to another customer, or interfere with the service for anyone else.
- Resell or re-badge the service as your own product without a written agreement with us.
- Deploy a product that captures screenshots to a team without telling them. In most of Europe you have your own legal obligations when you monitor staff, and they are yours to discharge. Using our software to monitor people who have not been told is a breach of these terms.
If something here is broken in a way that could affect other people, tell us at security@muslimspot.com. Reporting a vulnerability in good faith is not a breach of these terms.
Your data stays yours
Everything you put into the service remains yours. Your time entries, your projects, your screenshots and your files are not ours because we store them.
We use it to run the service for you, and for nothing else. We do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it to train anything. If that position ever changed, it would change by asking you, per account, with a default of no.
What we collect and how long we keep it is in the TimeTracer privacy notice and the company privacy policy. Those documents are part of these terms.
Pricing, billing and cancellation
There is no published price yet. When there is, it will be sold on the three commitments the company has made.
- Transparent pricing. Every charge is visible before it happens. No hidden fees, no surprise renewals, no charge you cannot see and account for. Cancelling is as easy as signing up.
- A fair price, not the maximum one. We charge for real work done, not for what you could be pushed to tolerate. No dark patterns. No feature held hostage to force an upgrade you do not need.
- We say what the product does today. Anything still in development is labelled as such. TimeTracer is available. CRM, SmartDoc and AutoSEO are in development, and there is no release date for any of them.
In contractual terms, that means:
- Every charge is shown to you before it is taken, and you are told before a renewal is taken.
- Cancelling takes no more steps than subscribing did, and it is available in the application.
- On cancellation you can export your data, and we delete it on the schedule in the privacy notice.
- If we change a price, we will tell existing customers before it applies to them, with enough notice to leave instead. There is no promise that prices will never change.
Suspension and termination
You can stop using the service whenever you like. We would like to know why, and you do not have to tell us.
We may suspend or close an account that is breaking the terms above, or where we are legally required to. Unless the law stops us, we will tell you what the problem is and give you a chance to fix it first, rather than closing an account without explanation.
If we ever decide to shut the service down, we will give notice, keep it running long enough for you to get your data out, and make the export work.
Liability
We will do the job properly. If we cause you loss by failing to, we will deal with it honestly.
This is software sold at a software price. We are not able to accept liability for indirect losses, lost profits, or losses that follow from your own use of the records the service produces. A billing dispute with your own client is between you and them.
Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.
This clause in particular needs a lawyer before it means anything. It is written in plain English. It is not yet in a form that would be relied on.
Changes to these terms
If we change anything that materially affects you, we will tell account holders by e-mail before it takes effect and change the dates at the top of this page. Carrying on using the service after that is acceptance. If you would rather not accept, you can cancel and take your data.
Governing law
To be settled with a solicitor before publication. Which law governs these terms, and where a dispute would be heard, depends on where the company is registered and whether any of its customers are consumers. This section is left open rather than guessed.
Until it is settled, if you have a dispute with us, write to hello@muslimspot.com.
